To address increasingly stringent global regulations on microplastic emissions, several materials and grass fiber companies have jointly launched an infill-free/organic infill alternative artificial turf solution, and are conducting large-scale pilot projects in schools, kindergartens, and community sports fields.

Since 2024, municipal sports projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia have accelerated the upgrading of community football fields and school sports fields from traditional natural grass to a new generation of high-performance artificial turf.
